What do you do when you see a huge wave galloping towards you?
It has power to destroy you in every way and there’s no way you can fight it.
You can’t try to hop on it and start surfing. You can’t run away from it, nature is a million times faster than your legs.
You can’t dive into it, needling through water like it’s a piece of silk.
There is just no way you can survive the inevitable calamity.
You lay down clinging to the damp sand like a chipped seashell and wait for it to pass, to run over you.
At this point even hoping for lesser damage is stupidity because you will only know what else it broke, when the wave is done with the show.
The classic ostrich move.
Just keep your eyes closed.
That’s where I’m right now.
I wrote and deleted too many posts recently I don’t even know why.
No goals, no plans, no lists..nothing.
I have been floating unmoored for … I don’t even know how long.
The dichotomy between the silence and chaos within my own mind is terrifying.
Therefore I gave up on thinking and trying to make sense of life and people.
I am feeding both, the silence and chaos, based on whichever is hungry first.
Meanwhile I want this place to be helpful.
I’m scheduling Mental Health Awareness re-blogs as and when I get permission.
If you have any related posts that you want me to share, just let me know through comment or contact form.
These post get reblogged at 12.02 am (UAE time) and for a day, so far I have already scheduled them for until mid oct and will keep adding more.
From the bottom of my heart I’m grateful for people who let me share their experience and perspective. This has become a purpose of my life and I would never be able to do it alone.
I’m here and I’m ok, if I feel I can’t deal anymore I will get help I promise you guys that.
Numbers saved, stash (meds, not somethings else) by the bed and friends in the tow, I just have to let this storm pass and then everything will be fine 🙂

When you said that, “You can’t try to hop on it and start surfing”, you reminded me of a story. In 1883, the volcano of Krakatoa suddenly awakened, with cracklings, explosions, and smoke and it caused massive tsunamis. An extraordinary tale, which seems pretty hard-to-believe, involves a German quarry manager who supposedly was swept off the roof of his three-story office, only to be saved by a passing crocodile. As a giant wave approached, he spotted the croc beside him and leapt on its back. Safely aboard, he dug his thumbs into the creature’s eye sockets and was carried along for the next few miles.
