Reminder: Stories by Mental Health Warriors

Hello people of WordPress,

Hope you all are doing as well as you can.

I just update my posts where I gathered writers who muster courage and share their mental health struggles. Even though I add the link in the end of every post, it’s easy to miss it.

So I thought I will write a reminder.

I started it on April 27th 2018 and since then I have been inviting people to share their stories by introducing themselves and leaving the link to their blog or a post they want people to read.

Our objective here is to read first hand accounts to realize and acknowledge how real these problems are. And to provide validations to these warrior who fight and survive everyday.

People have brutally stigmatized mental health, which has resulted in lack of acceptance, diagnosis and treatment on every level.

I wanted to give fellow bloggers a place where they can sort of register themselves and readers can easily find them.

I know it’s horrible drafted for now (thanks to WordPress constantly messing with editor). But I will find a way to make it easier to navigate.

For now, if you want to find about a specific disorder use find option in your browser to look it up.

Read their stories. Reach out to them. And let them know you are there.

Validation is everything.

In between my own whatever I do here, this initiative was getting lost.

It’s my own and my family’s struggles that remind me there is so much more to be done.

I’m grateful to people who have reacher out to me when I needed them or they needed me. They gave me hope.

I will try to funnel my focus on mental health awareness coming days as there are a few things I want to talk about, will be reblogging posts by fellow bloggers too.
