Burn After Reading – Movie

Burn after reading was a very random pick.

I read names Coen Brothers, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and I knew this won’t be waste of 1 hour 35 minutes after an exhausting day…aaaaand it’s on Netflix!

And Tilda Swinton!!

What a powerful cast!

It’s a dark comedy with twists that will shock you and leave you confused, but you expect that from a Coen brothers movie; Fargo, The Big Lebowski, o brother where art tho??

The crazy plot shows character screwing their lives up in the weirdest way possible.

Frances McDormand’s desperation of getting cosmetic procedures and Brad Pitt’s unsurmountable combination of stupid and greed, lead them on a dangerous spiral.

Btw, Brad Pitt is too damn hilarious in it.

John Malkovich’s failures and desperation to prove he wasn’t a failure at all, accidentally lands him into an infuriating situation with buffoons mentioned in the last para.

And oh, there’s George Clooney too, just a cheating husband you will love to watch facing the consequences point-blank.

You have to be a dark humor fan to like this movie, it’s bizarre, to say the least.

And if you are craving some pure incredibly mind-blowing acting, watch it!

  1. One of my favorite Coen Brothers movies. I have seen it like 2 or 3 times. xD My dad is a huge fan of the Coen Brothers so I have seen all of their movies thus far, mainly thanks to him especially their early films.
