Fracture – Movie

How many of you have seen this Fracture raise your hands?

Yep. I know not many have and I think this movie didn’t get the attention it deserved.

The first best thing about fracture..it’s short.

It’s just 1 hour 40 minutes long and that is awesome for people with a short attention span like me.

I have a long list of movies I paused and never resumed.

I watched it 2nd time last night when I was doing my other work on the next window. Didn’t take me long to close that work and focus on the movie.

It is that good!

It’s a brilliantly malicious mind game, that looks initially like a walk in garden.

Imagine, Anthony Hopkins being the coldest smartest murderer, acting completely innocent, actually too stupid at the beginning of the case. By the end, he has gone 2 to 200!!

Throughout staying composed like everything is normal.

Keeping the most complicated stuff the most casual.

Ryan Gosling plays an egocentric over-confident young attorney who has to counter Anthony Hopkin’s surprise attacks. As the case proceeds the good in him is revealed like a fog slowly settling. Even to himself.

And there’s Rosamund Pike too. I like her voice.

Love the story, definitely love the performances.

Loved the composer of the storyline, and its direction.

A tense yet calm ocean.

If you like crime movies, add it to the must-watch list, it’s available on netflix.

Lt. Robert Nunally: I warned you about him.

Willy Beachum: You warned me he was smart. You didn’t warn me you were stupid.”

Ted Crawford: You look closely enough, you’ll find that everything has a weak spot where it can break, sooner or later.”

Ted Crawford: Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

[Crawford has revealed that Nunally was having an affair with his wife]

Willy Beachum: This is getting out of hand, Your Honour. He just provoked my witness with an outrageous allegation

Ted Crawford: My D*** has evidence.

Judge Robinson: Excuse me?

Ted Crawford: My D***, my private investigator. I call him D***. Perhaps I should call him as a rebuttal witness, because since the tragedy, he’s dug up hotel records and witnesses that confirm that my wife and Mr. Nunally were having an affair. My D*** is good.
