30 Free Book Promotion Websites.

Attention Indie Authors,

I scheduled free book promo (ebook giveaway) between 17th to 20th June 2020.

This time, I didn’t promote it here much just added a line to inform in the footer of my regular posts, or on any other social media platform. I rather focussed on websites.

Here, I am sharing with you all the list of tried and tested (by me) website that allow you to feature your book promotions for free.

I have requested to be featured on all of these 30 websites and was successful with 14 of them (the ones I have highlighted), doesn’t mean others don’t feature maybe your book will have a better chance so I highly suggest you try you luck at all 30 of them.

By trying your luck I mean for free feature, if you want guaranteed feature you might have to pay. Every website has different packages.

My own feedback.

Last promotion (2 months back) I was able to give away 165 book in 2 days. I used all platforms known to me; my blog, instagram, twitter, and these websites.

This time I tried promoting only on websites and managed to giveaway 51 ebooks.

The book managed to rank on number 1 on multiple categories, but free books have different ranking. Still helps to highlight your book on amazon.

I am glad I did it. Learned A LOT along the way.

And I’m even happier I had a chance to give away my book in any form to 316 readers.

They say you get more reviews and ranking, but I haven’t gotten any yet. I did get mailed from paid reviews which I didn’t respond because I was people to be honest about my book.

I also heard giveaway help you with future sales. I got a few between these 2 promotions, but this number I was getting before too.

So, yea that’s about it.

I have removed swinging sanity from kindle select program, as it doesn’t suit it well. Might do a post about that too.

This was my total experience of free book promotion.

If you want to ask anything just feel free to reach out.

Stay safe and eat well!

    1. I wrote that below the links.
To sum it up I gave away 316 books (free). There was no remarkable difference in sales after promotion. No new reviews or rating. Even though a few paid reviewers contacted me with their quote in case I wanted to pay for a review, which i don’t.
I am getting my regular number of sales that too from my wordpress readers.

I wasn’t looking for sales my intention was too give free books, I had success with that part.

      1. Ah, so getting the book out there so to speak, was the aim? If you got over 300 people to at least download it, hopefully they’ll spread the word 🙂

I’ve only been published for a month, had a small spike when it went free of charge for a bit
