Building an email list through sending invites is an exhausting process indeed, but the result is worth the effort.
Today the professional of marketing is riddled with unethical yet legal business practices just to generate leads and sales.
And professional cross legal boundaries at any change they get.
I’m not even exaggerating.
The success generated by such practices is short lived, but who cares? That’s business attitude of small companies these days especially start-ups.
At a job after I drafted email my boss gave me an excel sheet of email addresses …10,000 email addresses!
At first place you can tell it was purchased and purchased without much thought to it, as a lot of email addressed were wrong fake or dormant accounts. And you can tell clearly 10,000 people didn’t voluntarily give email addresses to a startup.
And this is wrong!
You must have permission and proof of permission if you are sending any form of marketing emails to anyone. Which looks like this (in case you missed it):
Having a random list of email addressed is no big deal, they must allow you or subscribe to get emails from you.
I have been sending invites to everyone who is been following me, individually. I might look into more sophisticated ways like subscription forms later. But right now I could manage it.
So a big thank you to all of you!
You all have been unbelievably supportive to me and my every effort.
I’m truly grateful for being part of this world and having you all around me.
