O Raven..

O raven in the sky
Come sit with me, don’t be shy

What did we do to earn this fate
Why no one hears, when we cry

Are we too blue, or are we too black
Why can’t they see us, tell me why!

I’m tired of non-stop flight,
I feel like giving up, I can’t lie

But then, they pelt me with burning coals
What pleasure do they get, why don’t they die

I just sat down to breathe through my pain
This bed is eating me alive, I’m too numb to cry

There’s no dawn to this merciless night
World dipped into darkness, stars abandoned the sky

I didn’t ask for a castle I didnt ask for anything
I just wanted to sleep, with dreams never too high

My veins throb in pain, my skin bleeds anguish
My wings are broken, I don’t think i can fly

I shake and break in fear of losing this battle
But look into my eyes o raven, my eyes are still dry

Just sit with me for some time and let this night go
There’s no point in complaining, no point in asking why…
