Here is my 1st attempt at Zin Lim style charcoal portrait.

and since today’s word prompt is Forest let me share a quote from Forrest Gump (because that’s what came to my mind):

Wo😮w! I like the sketch 👍🙃 there’s a character in this drawing 🙂 I’m bad with drawing faces …it’s so difficult- proportions and shadows sigh 😔

I was the same some months bad. I always got proportions wrong. Shading part i could do but proportions..dont ask.
But once you see a few tutorials and browse a little google images it get easier.
The character doesnt look like reference image at all 😆

That’s fine…it shouldn’t look similar bcz each person/painter sees the face & character differently:) yep, practice & patience- we need that in drawing. A lot 😂

Ahah thanks for saying that because the image i draw is always different from reference image..literally everytime.
