Untitled- Colour Pencils

had a busy day..and here is what kept me busy..

I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish it in a day as I did it with color pencils and it was tiring and very intimidating.

I took help from a youtube tutorial to understand the colors and shading the image is my own idea.

As usual I started with a different reference image and it ended in something else. But now this doesn’t surprise me anymore.

I feel once you push your boat in the river it takes you wherever it wants.

The colors Undulated on the command of a hidden power.

It was surreal and terrifying. I don’t know how to explain this feeling.

It’s like universe takes you where you belong.

Something hit me once I was done with this piece. Whatever I start with I end up having something really sad.

It just happens.

And eyes..honestly I didn’t even try to make them prominent this time.

I am a bit weirded out right now..I will wait for the ripples to settle..

  1. Your inner emotions are flowing out of you right now. It must be wonderful being able to express that through art. My stick men don’t even look like stickmen. We all have different talents, you have a great talent in expressing emotions through art. It is awesome, really.

      1. Hahaha 😂, I literally do 😊, and I got ‘ary’ as my name from every single person who shoots me up with warm cordials in talks (fc*k I am technically overblown 😂) . Thank you Aly , so you called me Ary 😊😄. And you’ll know the ramming sense of my talks as I finally get to talking to you 😄

  2. I am continually amazed how things pour out of us through our creativity. Learning to allow the flow of energy is tremendously helpful. “I feel once you push your boat in the river it takes you wherever it wants.” <- I love this! I'm learning to do the same with my writing – it's a bit scary.
