I fell in love with a comforting smile
a set of genuinely doting eyes
With words that filled blanks in my poetry
A laugh that splashed colours in my life
Somebody i called my male version
Somebody who felt like mine
Somebody who felt like me…
How tragic it must have been
To know all of it was just an illusion
Outcome of my stone-blindness
My self-created image of a faceless shadow…
