Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind..

Just finished watching “Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind”.

Enchanting music! Can’t get over “almost lover” and “everybody’s gotta learn sometime”

The story revolves around an impulsive lovely girl, a serious nice guy, a girl living her déjà vu, the head memory eraser, and human version of a puppy (Mark Ruffalo), later 3 being the eraser guys. It’s a visual treat.

It’s a bitter-sweet dream, you love it and you are scared of losing it. And a beautiful depiction of human idiocy.

We like to play with fire. We take Avid interest in anything that’s polar opposite of what we are. We want to take risk but we can’t handle it. Either we say, “Ouch! It’s hurting me now” or we say “this is boring it was a bad idea!”

We crave for people when we have lost them already. When we had them we were looking for all the possible flaws, we thought we deserve better, and then we wanted out!!

And now when we are out, we are lost! We want everything back.

God must laugh at us!! What displeased creatures we are.

The crux of the movie is that even if you manage to remove traces of every memory still you cannot remove love, love always returns to its home.

Amazing execution of concept. How they dodged between memories in imagination didn’t make me dizzy for a nanosecond because it was flowing peacefully in unison with the reality. I didn’t sense chaos at all.

My favorite scene:-
Joel and Clem sing “Row row row your boat gently on the stream. Merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream”… and it starts raining..it was magical!
