Obsession

Obsession is the most helpless and destructive state anybody can go through.

You look at somebody/something and a tiny spark of affection is born in your heart.

When the winds of time blow it dies, but leaves a delicate trail of smoke.

Every glance gives a new strength to this trail and it starts spreading until it forms a silver cloud of mist around you.

Your every effort to push it away further condenses it.

It’s devastating the more you try to run away, the darker the cloud gets.

At the zenith of its madness, it turns Opaque.

You start losing your grip on reality and it forces entry into your imagination; your alternate reality, where you possess it!

It’s painfully hard to untangle from this unbreakable chain you have bound yourself with.
